⚡ You Want to "Do PPF"? Get Ready to Suck First

EVERY shop owner says they want to "do PPF."

Most of them aren’t ready to pay the real price.

You first year, you will set $30k in material on fire.

If you cannot stomach it, then find another way to make money.

Jamie’s training, AFM training, a manufacturer training … Doesn’t matter.

It WILL happen if you give a damn about the work.

Few realize the price of entry. Its pretty high.

The gap between you and the top tier installers isn't talent.

It's their willingness to mess up 100 full fronts before getting it right.

It's their willingness to be awful at first.

There is a point to this.

Its to say that anything you do, will require a period of time where you genuinely are pretty shit at doing the thing. (like how I said I wouldn’t curse in this email)

Its your EGO that will kill your growth.

No one is the best at anything start as the best.

You'll get frustrated. And your ego will scream for you to quit.

It will you that you suck, you’re bad, don’t bother.

So ask yourself:

  • Can you handle doing a job poorly until you learn to do it perfectly?

  • Are you ready to swallow your pride and keep pushing?

  • Will you put your ego aside to learn, adapt, and improve?

If not, PPF isn't for you.

If yes, welcome to the f**kin show.

How do we take this into Monday and apply it?

  • EMBRACE mistakes: they’re your best teachers.

  • ACCEPT temporary incompetence: it's a step toward excellence.

  • COMMIT to the process: show up every day, especially when it sucks.

If you're not ready to do that, stick to what you're already good at…..

Staying right where you are.
