Lets get the bag.

If nothing in your life feels uncomfortable right now,
your business isn’t “holding steady.”

It feels like your footing is slipping, a little more every day.
Most of us waste years pretending comfort is a strategy.
We wait for the perfect month… the perfect market… the perfect crew.
I would hope by now you understand that it never shows up. ← ← ←

GROWTH FEELS LIKE GRIT
-First $2K Coating Sale: your voice cracks on price because it’s double what you usually charge.
-First Full‑Time Hire: you lie awake at 2 AM wondering if payroll will clear.
-First Instagram Reel: you hate the sound of your own voice but hit “post” anyway.
-That churn in your gut? Completely normal.
-Your brain’s job is to keep you safe; it flags anything new as danger.

Winners read that as --> “This way to the next level.”

WHY SHOPS GET STUCK

It’s rarely tools, time, or traffic.
-It’s the reflex to dodge anything that makes you feel like a rookie.
-You won’t raise prices because you might hear “too expensive.”
-You won’t shoot video because you might look awkward.
-You won’t niche down because you might lose a few leads.

Every master‑level installer once felt out of place taping their very first panel.

But the difference between "is this right" and "easy money" is:

They kept showing up.

HOW TO BUILD A DISCOMFORT HABIT
-Pick a daily rep that scares you 10 %.
-Call the warm lead who asked for “just a polish” and upsell a 2 year coating
-or sell them IR Tint.
-Schedule it! Don’t debate it.
-Treat the rep like an appointment with a customer.
-You wouldn’t ghost a client; don’t ghost yourself.

RECORD THE WIN, NOT THE OUTCOME.
-Whether the sale lands or not, log the rep.
-Stack 30 of those.
-Now the baseline is set.
-Raise the ceiling 1 % each week.
-Keep your threshold moving so growth stays the default.

THE COST OF COMFORT
-Stay comfy and…
-Your body stays tired.
-Your confidence stays small.
-Your backlog stays the same five cars a week... if that.
-The market doesn’t pause while you “maintain.”
-It’s either expansion or erosion.

READ THIS AS YOUR SIGN
-Waiting for permission? This is it.
-Raise the price.
-Shoot the video.
-Pitch the dealership.
-Feel the stomach flip.
-Take the step anyway
-Then do it again tomorrow.

Because the only real risk honesty isn't the failure.

It’s looking back next year and realizing the shop:
-the skills
-the life you wanted
-were sitting on the other side of ONE five‑second decision.

Let’s get uncomfortable.

Because THE GRIND IS NOT OPTIONAL.

Stay Gassed,
-G out
